Sumit is the Principal Troublemaker of the laboratory. Sumit has studied at the University of Mumbai, India, Utah State University, and Purdue University. Prior to joining the faculty at Northwestern University, he was on the faculty at Indiana University, Bloomington. Sumit’s primary research interest is in applied cochlear mechanics and his current research goal is to develop more accurate and more affordable tools for early diagnosis of hearing loss.
